Quinoa Fruit Bowl

I've never been big on breakfasts that take too long to make because I'm usually too hungry to wait haha! The good thing about this one is that you can make it in bulk and use it over a few days! Buy some jars and portion it out so that way you can eat it on the way to work. You can also mix up which fruits you use :-)


  • 1/2 cup uncooked quinoa

  • 1/2 cup greek yoghurt

  • sliced strawberries

  • sliced honeydew

  • dried cranberries

  • handful of toasted and chopped almonds

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (or chai spices)

  • 1 tablespoon coconut (I used shredded)

  • squeeze of fresh lime (about half)


  1. Cook quinoa then leave to rest for 5 minutes off the heat.

  2. Place the yoghurt in a serving bowl.

  3. Mix all other ingredients (including quinoa) together in a mixing bowl.

  4. Place mixture on the top of the yoghurt.

  5. Voila!
