Hey there!

If you're here because you struggle to keep an exercise routine during the colder months of the year, then you're in the right place.

 

It can be tough to stay motivated during winter as it's the easiest time of year to hibernate on the couch eating chocolate.

But it doesn't have to be that way!

All we need are some simple tools to help us to stay on track and with a little encouragement and support from your trainers and peers, maintaining a consistent fitness routine during winter can be easier than you think.

What does the Challenge involve?

A healthy lifestyle doesn't need to be perfect; it just needs to be consistent and our 6-week "Stronger by Spring" Challenge is going to put you on the path to achieving exactly that.
 

As part of the Challenge, you'll be placed onto a small team of other FFC members to help you with motivation, accountability and of course; to harness the team spirit!

 

Our trainers will help you build consistent, healthy habits in the lead up to Spring, with weekly targets as well as fun, achievable weekly Challenges to complete in a team of like-minded people. 

We want you to take part in the Challenge for YOU, so you can bounce out of Winter feeling stronger and fitter but as a special little bonus, those on the winning team will go into a draw to win a free monthly membership valued at $148!

What are the requirements??

If you want to be in it to win it, then complete the below targets each week to earn points towards your team tally.

The maximum amount of points you can earn individually each week is 30 points but you will also have the chance to opt into weekly Team Challenges to earn bonus points for your team! These Challenges will be released at the start of each week.

Here are your weekly targets to earn individual points for your team...

fitness, sport, friendship and healthy lifestyle concept - group of teenage friends or spo

Attendance
3 classes a week = 5 points

 

Attend 3 Fit For Change group exercise classes a week. This must be 3 sessions across a Monday - Saturday period.

Salad

No takeaway,
5 takeaway-free days = 5 points

Eat NO Takeaway for 5 days of the week. Takeaway includes any meal bought away from home, even if it's a salad! 

Walking Club

10000 Steps a day.
5 days of steps = 5 points

Reach 10000 steps a day for at least 5 days of the week. The 10000 steps must be accumulated in one day and not across multiple days. 

Smartphone

Go Social Media Free
1 day off socials = 5 points

Go social media-free for one day per week. A day is 24 hours so you can go from 7am-7pm or whatever 24 hour period you choose!

Cocktail Garnished Delight

Alcohol-free days.
6 alcohol-free days = 5 points

Have at least 6 alcohol-free days a week. You don't have to cut out alcohol completely but this Challenge is about moderation. 

Woman Stretching Exercise

Stretching and mobility
3 days = 5 points

Complete a minimum of 10 minutes of stretching or mobility work at least 3 times a week. This does not include stretches done during or after classes.

How do I sign up??

Step one

If you're not a current FFC member, sign up to Xplor to purchase a membership or a class pass that you can use throughout the 6 week challenge. If you're a current member, you can continue on your current training package or membership.​ A 6 week training package will be available for the Challenge dates only if you are looking to go all in!

Step two

If you have a training package or membership sorted, you can click below to sign up. There are no extra fees or conditions, just add your name on the list and you're in!

Step three

Once we've place you onto a team, you will be added to a Group Facebook Messenger Chat with your fellow teammates. This is where you can track your individual and team points and where you can work to keep each other accountable and motivated! I will also post the Weekly Team Challenges in this chat every Sunday.
