Another year done and dusted with my Fit For Change family and this year was a little bit special, because it marked 10 years since my first ever FFC bootcamp in Alexandria Park 🤯👵🏼

It's been a long journey since the days of me standing in the park with two clients, an A3 sized laminated sign and three kettlebells from Aldi (lol) and looking back, I can't believe I made it this far😂

Thank you to my wonderful clients for celebrating with me last weekend and I wish I got more photos of everyone at the party!! I am eternally grateful for my FFC family and I feel lucky to have each and every one of you in my life🤍

And to my wonderful trainers, @joshua_moose_ and @maxferri04, thank you for all your support over the last year. I couldn't have done it without you both!

Max has been an integral part of Fit For Change’s growth in 2025 and I’m excited to announce that Max will be taking on a more official role in 2026; coaching classes, Personal Training clients and coordinating business operations 👨🏼‍💻
 Max completed his Certificates III and IV in Fitness with me at UOW College and since then, he has continued to grow within the industry; working as a trainer and gym administrator to sharpen his skills in all areas of fitness.
Max is also about to begin his Bachelor of Exercise Science to expand his knowledge in strength, movement, and human performance 🏃🏽‍♀️

Max's coaching style focuses on functional training, technique, and consistency — empowering clients to develop lasting strength and confidence both in and out of the gym so if you're looking for a coach who supports you, pushes you AND makes you laugh, then Max is your man👊🏽

Keep your eyes peeled for some exciting changes we'll be rolling out next year!!! We’re stoked to have you @maxferri04😍

This is Nic and she's one of the kindest, funniest, most generous and loving people I know.   And yet, three months ago, Nic got diagnosed with Brain Cancer. WTF.   This diagnosis rattled the whole community because none of us could understand why someone so special would be dealt such a shit hand. It just doesn’t seem fair!!  But Brain Cancer doesn’t discriminate. 1 Aussie every 5 hours is diagnosed with brain cancer and yet, brain cancer receives only 5% of all federal government cancer research funding !!! It feels helpless but GUESS WHAT!?

There is something you CAN do!

You can come down to Thirroul Beach this Saturday at 7am and help us raise money to give to the smart people at the @markhughesfoundation who can figure out how to cure this awful f#cking disease!!  I won’t make you exercise, don't worry (lol) but you will be able to buy…

ABOUT US

At Fit For Change Personal Training in the Northern Illawarra, we offer a timetable of group fitness classes from Monday to Saturday.

Fit for Change classes are designed for all fitness levels & abilities and are ideal for women & men who enjoy the motivation of training with others.

Our experienced and motivated Fit for Change trainers include Alyssa Yeo, Max Ferri and Andrea Strand and we run a variety of classes including Conditioning, Mat Pilates, Strength, Running and classes for those 65+.

Our classes are held along the beautiful Thirroul Beach reserve. Please check the locations page for our wet weather alternative locations.
