Flourless Super Choc Cake


After weeks of indulging, it's now time to pull in the reigns and get back on the health train but let's just eassssseeeee into it slowly shall we? It would be rude not to!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups almond meal

  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon gluten free baking powder

  • 3 eggs

  • 1/2 cup olive oil

  • 1/2 cup maple syrup

  • 1/2 cup almond milk

Choccy Icing:

  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil

  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup

  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla bean paste

  • pinch salt

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 160 degrees celcius

  2. Line cake tin with baking paper

  3. Add the dry ingredients together in a large bowl

  4. Add in eggs, milk, maple syrup and olive oil and stir until combined

  5. Mix thoroughly then add to cake tin

  6. Bake for about 50 minutes

  7. Mix all icing ingredients together to form a paste

  8. Allow to cool before icing the cake.

  9. Enjoy!
