My favourite breakfast smoothie tastes delicious and is quick and easy to throw together in the morning. When I'm training early, I feel that it's important to have a post workout meal so this is my go to as it has some sugar from the fruit to help my body absorb the protein plus antioxidants from the berries and a little bit of Low GI carbohydrates to refuel.
1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1 tsp chia seeds
1 scoop protein powder (optional)
Cinnamon to taste
Add all ingredients to food processor and blend together until smooth
